I ordered something from them once and didn't have a problem. Doesn't mean nobody else has, though! If you order something from them online, be prepared for the onslaught of junk email that you will receive from them.

American Music Supply and Musician's Friend are owned by... Guitar Center. I think of them as all one thing.

I bought an UAD-1 from JRRshop. Good price and fast service, and no spam as of yet. But with an email i was getting the idea this is a one-man shop. Not that that's a bad thing though....

I love AMS, I have spent thousands of dollars there now, and I have had great service. The no interest payments is one of the best things available. This enabled me to get my Gibson SG, and recently I got a 55lb 2x12 Digital Crate Amp, and it was delivered in less than week(4 days), and 3 interest free monthly payments of $133. Its a great place, and the customer service thus far to me has been great, and they also have online chat customer service which is a great alternative. =-Ben

Yeah, the 'EZ Payment' system they have is great. I got my NTK from them that way. I would have waited to get my UAD-1 that way when it becomes available, but I lost control of myself at West LA Music earlier this week......they only charged me $350 for the Project Pack! GregJ
