Kill Windows shortcuts

Anyone know how to disable the CPU's Windows key so I can get Win+whatever to be a hotkey, and not open some stupid Micrsoft function I have no intention of using while working in Reaper. Example: Win+U > Ease of access center. I'm on Vista 32 Thanks

There is some registry tweaking for that, try googling. However you will never be able to disable ALL Windows hotkeys, unfortunately.

i believe autohotkey will work For instance win key+F usually opens up the search window but using AHK I assigned winkey+F to open firefox. It does just that. Opens up FireFox and not the Windows default hotkey. You can probably set it up to not do anything.

AutoHotKey will do it, but it would be nice to have this as a Preference setting in the keyboard section right under the current, "Prevent Alt key from focusing main menu". Shane
