Monitor Volume Control Defect???

Create a 1k tone with the audio suite plug in and send it mono the master fader. Push up the fader and see what you get. My guess is that your source audio is at fault. Extremely odd to have two Digi001's have the same exact defect. Make sure to us "balanced" 1/4 inch cables for both?

My left speaker comes on first as well at abt the 7:00 position. But once the right channel comes on there doesn't seem to be any balance problem. I haven't noticed this in the headphones. Mike

Yes, this is a defect. That is one of the first things I noticed with mine. However, we're talking really low levels.

That imbalance at very low levels is not unusaual for a less expensive pot. Even high priced ones sometimes do that.
