Hi, Is it possible to route Media explorer preview via selected track? This would be useful for example when searching for example kick with specific freq area (using Schope) or just preview samples through compressor or reverb. -Arto

Hi Arto- Well, that's interesting! I just tried it with a .wav file, and the FX weren't audible. When I tried it before, it was with a .mid file processed through a track that had EZDrummer and a reverb FX, and both worked. You can hear the dry audio .wav, but no added FX through the selected track, correct? -Susan
Ok, I think I see what's going on. The output from the Media Explorer for audio files is determined by what you select from the IO button. It doesn't matter which track's selected. For .mid files, it does matter, and the file is processed through whatever FX are on the selected track. -Susan EDIT: Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see a way to route an audio file from Media Explorer to a specific track in order to hear FX. OTOH, .mid files play back through the selected tracks with FX just fine.
