Always On!

Hello, This might sound stupid but who cares. I use my computer alot and it seems to be on for most of the day. In turn this means that the I/O box is on. Is this an issue? Thanks!

I mean, most electronic components in hardware produced today will outlive your use of the hardware. Usually what will break first are mechanical pieces (buttons, plugs, anything that moves or is subject to friction). The only thing to be concerned about is saving energy. That's the only reason I turn off my computer evey night. Save the earth and save some dough too.
