No sampler available for 6.0?

The Kontakt cross-grade offer that expires at the end of February is very tempting for those of us who got suckered into Soft SampleCell. Except the word from NI is that the OS X version won't be out until "the second half of 2003." This means it could be anywhere from June to next February. And if an upgrade fee applies (don't know if it will) any savings on the cross-grade are moot. Ray

Are there others up here who find it REALLY REALLY strange that we're waiting for MOTU to complete their product so we can have a sampler with our DIGIDESIGN product? Digi, I totally love you and ProTools, but sometimes your approach to things ("Let's sell our users a sampler called SampleCell, then, let's kill that product and ask our users to buy Soft SampleCell, then when we move on to 6.0, let's decide for our users that they don't even need a sampler {?} and then not offer one") totally defies everyday intelligence. Ray, I'm with you on this issue. Even though Kontakt looks appealing, I'm hesitant to jump on the Cross-Grade offer. Right now, I'm more inclined to take a wait-and-see approach. I can get by with what I've got for now. Too bad though because it limits us moving forward with 6.0. Anybody have any other thoughts on this?
