No sampler available for 6.0?

Hmm...am I correct to understand that there is currently NO sampler which will work with PT6.0? If so, that's pretty harsh. I'm sure there are many users who use samples ALL THE TIME and not having ANY options for samplers in 6.0 will pretty much put an end to early migration for those. I think the only hope is for Motu's MACHFIVE, whicvh appears to be the ONLY htdm sampler plugin being made so far.

The press release on MOTU's site says first quarter of 2003. So expect it out sometime in April. Likely with OS X applications just hitting the streets, they need to do some final testing to make sure everything's in ship shape. Ray

There's a huge back page ad in this months EQ, so hopefully it will be soon. From the Namm reports of fellow DUC'ers, they were showing more of the MACH5 than the OSX version of DP. haze

anybody using kontakt? I'm looking for a sampler to jump over to PT6 as well. The really annoying thing, is that I have only been into this whole soft synth thing for just less than a year and I wanted something compatible with PT, so I chose Soft Sample Cell about 5 months ago and converted a lot of samples...and got used to using it, etc. If they weren't pushing it hard as a NEW thing when I bought it, I WOULD NOT Have bought it..... I really wish there was some sort of refund if we turned in our i lok liscense, or something. or a even extended discount...beyond what they have... I don't normally care about moving on from a product, but this was a little rough.
