Rendering question

What determines the start and stop points when I request a render to stem or render of an entire mix? Can you use markers? I often have tracks that run past where the render needs to end for example. How do I set the start and end points?

With stem tracks I'm not so sure but when rendering an entire project you can set it to render just the time selection.

NM. I found it in the rendering dialogue. I knew I would find it the minute after I posted the question

You can place an Empty Item at the end of your project. I'm not sure the project is extended by placing markers though. Try it and see if that works :) .
