Hi, I have a single midi (piano) track... and I would like to explode a certain number of midi notes to another track(s) depending of their note value. Ex : - Move or copy all the notes that are higher or equal to C4, in a new track 2 (called "piano G") - Move or copy all the notes that are lower to C4, in a track 3 (called "piano F") Is there any midi function that allow this kind of process please ?

I'm not a MIDI expert, but I think that manually selecting using the lasso function and then cutting and pasting to a new track would be relatively painless.
Yes... after posting my first message, I was thinking doing that, except if I could learn advanced midi functions, that helped me with different options... Thanks.
You could make a couple of copies of the midi item. Take:Show FX chain for active take. Add JS:Midi/midi_note_filter Set the note range you want to keep Glue item
sometimes it is not possible to separate piano hands so easily by one pitch and the only way to do it is manually. What I do is selecting left hand notes manually and assign them another channel. If it is the case that both hands are quite well separated and defined then is also easy to select them all by a marquee rectangle. But when both hands start to mix... no plugin ever would be able to separate them. Setting colors by channel helps me to see what is on each hand while selecting and changing the channels. Then you can split each channel to tracks easily if needed.
