Hey guys, I'm recording a band in 2 weeks that is paying me a lot of loot. Well, anyway, they are a rock band w/ synths but they want one of their songs to have a really drum n bass feel. I mentioned to them that i could use sound replacer to replace their snare and kick and they thought it was a cool idea. I could also try to get him to use a picolo snare and try to make his kit sound like a DNB kit. But let's say i'm going for the first idea... where is the best place to pick up some DnB sounds? I used to have a Boss Dr202 and i remember those sounds being ok. Should i get reason for this purpose (i could also find other uses for it in the future, i'm sure)? Should i pick up a sample cd (if so, any reccommendations?)? I guess i have a lot of ideas to throw around but i'm about 2 weeks away, so lay your thoughts on me! Any help is greatly appreciated.
