850R - Interior trim / seats colour

Hi, Just a quick question about the interior colours and seat colours found on the 850Rs. Every 850R I have seen for sale has a light wood (birch?) dash etc, and comes with cream leather seats and the ali-baba cream suede...... I'm in the market for a 850R and I have found a black manual one but the seller says the colour inside is black. Do any 850Rs come with a black interior. I guess if so this would be black leather and ali-carter seats rather than cream leather etc. So basically what colour seats / dash do the 850Rs come with.

Mine is an anthracite grey R with a dark interior. Dark walnut trim is used in place of the light birch. You are correct about the seats.

if you look at your vin plate, it will tell you which trim was fitted to your car,its possible the trim could have been changed by a previous owner. how to read your vin plate paul

Thanks for the excellent replies gents. It does appear this one is a dark wooden dash with black leather seats so it probably is a genuine 850R. I've also found out that the seller is a Volvo specialist so that's a huge bonus. :Banane32:
