OWC Mercury Extreme 1.467 Processor Upgrade

Is anyone here using one of these processors successfully with an HD rig? Please post your experiences, both good and bad. Peace, shane d. wilson

Used it in Mix cubed rig with Quicksilver (originally 733mhz) It worked perfectly!

I have the OWC 1.4 running in a Quicksilver 733. Used it with both Mixplus and now HD2 Accel. Found that underclocking it to 1.33 made everything way more stable. I know several people running HD systems with Quicksilvers and OWC 1.4. Highly recommend it.

Really amazing! Very powerful, it allowed my 733 quicksilver to run 2-3 instantiations of Altiverb. In the beginning (w/orig. processor) it could not run "one" reliably. The L3 cache was a big one for 733 QS. I run mine at 1.3hz and seems to be fine. If I had the energy I would set the jumpers to 1.467, but it has been so reliable I have not bothered. Well worth the money. bc
