I know at least one of the DVD2One development team visits here, and we are delighted. As you can see, even though DVD2One was intended as a simple and fast "movie only" backup tool, our members are coming up with inventive uses for the program. This was to be expected, as we have been authoring, de-authoring, and re-authoring DVDs for some time now, and it's in our nature to want to continue doing so. Is there any chance of another program being offered that would simply transcode (and optionally remux) video to specified bitrates or file sizes? Although the audience for such a tool would be smaller than the current products, it would be greatly appeciated by those of us who have struggled with ReMPEG2, CCE, TMPEGenc, and others.
I support this 100%. I haven't tried DVD2One yet, mainly because my DVD-burner hasn't made it's way into the computer yet, but is seems like a very useful program. I do intend to get it once I'm sure my DVD-burner is working correctly. The second thing I think you should make high priority is the ability to split a DVD-9 in two DVD-R. Good luck.
