Insert SFV file into DVD image

I've started using an image to burn DVRs using DVD Decrypter. I use either DVDMaestro or ImgTools. I'd like to be able to insert an SFV file in the image so I can easily verify the disk integrity anytime in the future. I haven't been able to accomplish this and I'm thinking it's not possible. Both programs refuse to include the SFV in the image. Any ideas?

The checksum of the image? I'm sure it would change if it was added after the image was created. However I haven't found a utility that can alter the contents of an img image. In any case, after burning two back-to-back coasters using the DVD Decrypter/Image method, I'm back to using Nero. With Nero I can put the SFV file in the root directory and it comes out fine in the final burn.
