glenridding is very peacefull, with rugged beauty, a steamer also goes the full length of the lake, 11miles i beleive. paul

In the Lakes, Buttermere is lovely, and the views form the top of Hay Stacks are amazing! I was there with some friends the other weekend & although it took a while to walk to the top, it was certainly worth it :)
