I have EzDrummer working in Reaper. However, I cannot drag and drop the grooves into a track. When I try, I get an error message: cannot import 1 or 1 items. I can arm the track and record EZDrummer, which appears as audio (I think).
1.1.4 EzDrummer Windows 7 Reaper v3.35/64 Hmmm...I'm wondering if I have the 32bit version of EzDrummer? Could that make a difference? Seems to work ok in other respects.....
Hmmm.... Any idea where EZDrummer put the new DLL? Reaper can't see it. I force Reaper to look in Program Files (x86)\Vst Plug Ins\ but no joy. There aren't any subdirectories.
Mine is in my Vst folder with all the other Vst. I may have told it to put it there, but I usually let the programs install how they want to unless they try to put things into a Steinberg Vst folder which I don't have and don't let them create. Maybe it created a Steinberg folder for you. Take a look. Or a Cubase folder. I forget how they order them.
Still not having much joy, unfortunately. Thanks for your help so far. I now have EZDrummer 1.2.0 I create a track and arm it. I click FX I select vsti Dfh Sampler (Toontrack) 16 out I can hear EZ Drummer through my phones. The levels show up in the master as the loop plays I try to drag and drop a loop, but nothing happens. I try to record, but nothing records (I could do this previously, but not now). Do I need to change some other setting somewhere? I have "in" set to "Analog In 1 Delta 44". I tried changing it to Midi All - All Channels, but this didn't have any affect.
