HARD DRIVES

DOES ANYONE KNOWS ANY COMPANY THAT COULD SHIP SOME HARDWARE STUFF, DOWN TO SPAIN? I'M INTERESTED IN GETTING THAT MAXTOR ATA 7200 rpm. AND IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IT HERE AT A REASONABLE PRICE. I'VE TALK TO COMP-USA, BUT THEY TOLD ME THEY CAN NOT SHIP MATERIAL OUT OF THE U.S., SO THEY SAID THE BEST THING TO DO IS TO FIND A FRIEND WHO CAN BUY IT IN AMERICA , AND THEN SEND IT TO ME.I HAVE SOME GREAT STUFF FOR DIGI001 AND TDM,TO SHARE WITH SOMEONE THAT WANTS TO HELP ME. Okay, I just bought a 40 GB Maxtor 7200rpm in Germany for about 300 Euro. You can get it in any computer chain. Maybe it is a little more expensive than in the US, but within Euroland, you dont have to pay import tax, of course and it is a lot closer.

What size hard drive are you looking for, because costa has maxtor for $159 20gig. I have been up and down on the web. and what also seem like a good website is Microwarehouse. www2.warehouse.com/default.asp?home=mac I have a few places to call, I will ask them if they would ship to Spain and let you know. I made a phone call to the warehouse site. They told me some items are labeled can not ship outside of the USA, why I don't know. But you could call them yourself at 1 800 397 8508.
