Im recording my first solo album, and it's going to be primarily acoustic guitar and vocals with occasional backing instruments in some songs. I absolutely LOVE the tone of the track "Jolene" by Ray Lamontagne...big intimate vocals and smooth even acoustic panned right to keep it from bouncing in and out of the mix. If anyone has some golden ears and ideas on achieving this sound, please chime in! Using a stereo pair of C12s, Mackie Onxy 1620 board, Classik Studio Reverb, and the full URS plug-in suite including Console Strip Pro. Thanks in advance! Chase
