Bounce and Delete Track

Two beginner questions: 1)When I go to bounce to disk, the recording plays, the file is created, but when played contains no sound. I've checked all the tracks to make sure they are going to the same output that the bounce is supposedly monitoring. 2)For some reason I can't get the delete track option to un-gray. If I create a new track, I can delete it, but it seems after I've done some stuff on a track, I cannot get the option to be available.

my sessions are filled with un used tracks If someone can tell me how to delete Tracks. I will get him an V.I.P when i get famous!!!!!!

Please try the steps on the thread. If this doesn't clear up the problem, please provide specific information about your system - Pro Tools version, computer processor and chipset type, etc.
