EastWest PLAY Engine How to Properly Route ONE Instance+ 18Outs?

Hi, I use Reaper 32 and 64bit versions depending on which one works at the time... My goal, my dream, and my wish is to open REAPER Select the PLAY engine as my VST instrument, and use 16 midi channels one for each instrument I load... I've tried most everything and nothing works. When I initially select the PLAY plugin after right clicking the tracks section, Reaper asks me if I wish to create outputs, something like: Play 1/2 3/4 5/6 7/8 9/10 11/12 13/14 15/16 With a some sort of *Master* track on the top of track 1/2 called PLAY. Say I have selected or added 4 instruments in PLAY Oboe (1) Drums (2) Tele (3) Piano (4) This ( ) denotes what midi channel the instrument is on. So I click on the I/O settings, and set midi inputs in channel 1/2 to channel one. No go. What to do? If anyone is using REAPER, and the PLAY engine, how do you get one instance using 16 midi channels??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have PLAY plugs at the time being, so I won't be of too much help. I do know that this sort of thing is possible as I am able to do it with other engines. It should work with PLAY also.
