IK Multimedia Plugs randomly crash Reaper

I know, I could just not use them. But I kind of like CSR, Philharmonik, and occasionally Amplitube (when I'm too lazy to mic up an amp...) And they don't always crash. And everyone who uses them swears they're stable on *their* host. And the company says the same. But every once in a while, turning a knob, adjusting something: error message; music keeps playing until you press the "close" button. I just was able to crash it very easily. I can't get to the error message, or save it, but if you play with the controls long enough, it's a sure crash.

I use both Amplitube and Sampletank with NO problems.

Thanks. The plot thickens. Nothing else -- nothing -- I have crashes Reaper, and Philharmonik and Sampletank can be made to every time. I wonder what the difference is?

The IK products are not the best coded in the world. :( Here, if I try using the MIDI CTL window to assign a MIDI CC controller to a knob then the PC locks up requiring a reboot. I can only suggest reporting the problems to IKMM and don't let them say that Reaper is not a supported host.
