im pretty sure that Maestro only writes one project to a tape, (i usually erase the tape in ntbackup before writing again anyway) if you want to put more than one project on a tape, then create the disc image, then use ntbackup or other tape backup software to write the images as if they were files, not a dvd image. you will have to have 1 project per tape for duplication however, and most plants require you to have a separate tape per layer too. but for just backup purposes (ie, the DLT4000 can fit 40gb compressed on a DLTtape IV media) it would very well.
