002 rack problems

Pro Tools keeps crashing when I play back anything. I am running 6.2.2. on OS 10.3.6. on a imac G5 /1.8/1G of RAM/ 160 LaCie FW drive. it was all running smooth until I tried to upgrade Waves Diamond. Now when I enable record the track does not flash. it is solid....like it's already recording. then when I hit space bar, or manualy from the transport, or command+spacebar, it crashes. no errors, just unexpectedly quit. I have reinstalled my OS 10.3.6.....still the same problem. i am familiar with other systems, not my own so I am not too familiar with crash problems. can anyone give me an idea where to start???

Would it help to upgrade PT?

check to make sure if OSX 10.3.6 is compatable with the version of PT you use.

You should upgrade to PT LE 6.7 and Mac OS X v. 10.3.7. From Digi's website: "Pro Tools LE 6.7 is officially supported on Mac OS X 10.3.2, 10.3.4, 10.3.5, and 10.3.7 (Panther) * Mac OS X 10.3.3 and 10.3.6 have not been fully tested with Pro Tools and are not recommended" John
